It worked out of the box.
No software needed.
But: the volume is to low and if I put the volume on my amplifier higher there are issues with impedance I think.
You have to try it with your amplifier, if it works.
I use since a while sound from Bluetooth from the beamer to a Bluetooth adapter to my amplifier, so no sound output from Rasp5 at all. This is the most reliable way I found since.
