And 3. How do I confirm if my NVMe is incompatible or not ?

CM

CM4 is a Compute Module 4 , just another Pi model with WiFI.

1: tethering is on your Android Phone! Your Pi has no idea what that is!

2: no idea which connector your Android phone has. For me it's a USB-C->USB-A cable.

3: use a uSD first for getting tethering running. Then tackle the NVMe issue.

I have thee USB C to USB A.
Got the Pi up and running from an SD card. Still not able to make a connection from tethered Andriod 8.0 OS.

My responsed to this forum can be slow since I have very limited access to the internet.
Standing by.
