My student has a New RPi 3B+
We installed the latest image on it, with Wifi settings etc.
Booted and it didn't show on Wifi when pinged, so we hooked it up to monitor, etc, reset the wifi (it connected), used raspi-config to set SSH & VNC on.
Tried via wifi again
Ping started to work.
SSH connection was refused, despite double checking it in raspi-config. VNC also timed out.
We added the SSH file to the boot folder, and then SSH worked once, then the next class the password doesn't work. We reset the password over & over, including " " being a password, and it still says denied.
I've been tutoring him remotely, so can't get my hands on it directly. I've done all the same with my RPi5B, and had none of the problems.
This RPi is being installed in a robot dog kit, but it needs VNC/SSH to troubleshoot it once installed, so really hoping to get it figured out first.
Anything I'm missing here?
