Are you sure the regulator output is 5V? Did you measure it?I'm using 11.1V 2200mAh battery connected to a voltage regulator to restring it to 5V and then the positive wire to 5V (pin 2) in the Pi and the negative to GND (pin 6)What battery are you using? How is it connected to the Pi?
When I power it with the power supply it doesn't boot, I just see three vertical lines (white, yellow and blue) and the red light in the Power LED.
When I power it with my battery it shows a black screen and the fan works really fast with the green light on.
