  2. Just start a single instance of an executable in the foreground and Docker will take care of the rest.
  3. For security and flexibility reasons I think I’d use network access to GPIOs. However the devil is in the details so I will defer to the opinion of someone with actual experience of that application.
Thank you for your reply, and that resource to check out. It makes sense that at best forking the process over complicates things.
