Sure, but that won't help much when you get couple of those usb3 to nvme enclosures an put power hungry SSDs (not designed for this) inside.That's the USB3 spec (isn't it) --> 4.5W max
It is like those old usb 2.0 dual cables for 3.5" hard drives and DVD writers because "That's the USB2 spec (isn't it) --> 500mA max". Maybe you can still get such usb 3.0 dual cables nowadays? If the hub has 4 ports you could still get 1.8A for two NVME boxes?
Another topic is why someone who needs so much storage devices gets a Pi and makes such fragile usb contraption instead of getting well powered miniPC with few nvme/sata/usb3.0 slots/ports inside and puts same Debian version on it and saves a lot of hassle and even some money and ends with something more I/O performant than this.
