I've recently decided to upgrade my Pi 4 to the new Bookworm OS to see if I could gain any improvements in streaming to the living room TV for gameplay.
Unfortunately NVIDIAs GameStream option has finally gone away with my last update, so I needed to wrap my head around Sunshine. Running at 1080p all around with a slightly overclocked Pi 4, I managed to reinstall everything as it was on Buster OS.
Auto starting Moonlight, grab my Nintendo Pro Controller and I'm good to go. Great quality and function, the Pi streams the games from my PC very nicely, in my option.
The most recent discovery was that I wanted to use my controller as a mouse outside of Moonlight on the Pi, really just eliminating the mouse all together (unless I use it for a specific game). I didn't realize the PlayStation DS4 controller has a "trackpad" type of surface on it, and thought maybe this would be the answer. Fortunately I had one lying around. It couldn't have been easier and I was stunned to realize that a simple Bluetooth connection was all it needed to work! No fancy ds4drv or other repository search needed... Now I can use the DS4 to mouse around to my browser for my cable app, close windows and shut down without a mouse or keyboard!
