I did some additional testing at while adjusting the Ethernet link speed using ethtool to set different modes. Here's what I observed (sorry, formatting tables is impossible)

Key takeaways:
-Mode 1, Speed, changes based on the link speed. Off = 10Mbit, On = 100Mbit, blinking = 1000Mbit
-I did not observe any differences in modes 0, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 when running at different link speeds

My current plan is to use the Green LED in Mode 9 to indicate Activity at any speed, and the Yellow LED in Mode 1 to indicate the current link speed.
