I'd love to find these books and instructions well before I can understand them. I watch a lecture series on YouTube about writing compilers, and the instructor pointed out that compilers can't optimise at the assembly code level because... reasons. I think getting down to brass tacks when we have such powerful processors would really only waste time, but again, if you can learn something, why not?
