Here's an example of something that pushes the Pi 5 to it's limit but stays smooth:

The FPS font is too small but it reads 70 FPS. That's 1920x1080, just over 2 layers of drawing (including steam) and a moderately expensive heat wave shader.
This game is C++ so not my programming language/engine.
This is under X11, I'm unable to get FPS reading on CLI other than '60' because vsync is broken on Pi 5 (rather when vsync is OFF it's broken.)
