If it were 1 in a million, then it would be less than 100 that had the issue. Can I say that after using it for a year, power off and then on again, then it broke down, Considering the sales volume, even with a damage rate of one in a million, how many people cannot find a replacement for the da9090 and throw it in the trash ? At least I can easily buy MXK7704Why do you think it is easy to damage the PMIC? Very few cases of this happening given the high number of sales. What happened to cause it to fail?
The only guaranteed way to kill them I know of is overly high input voltage (i.e. a transient of 9v when we tested a badly designed PoE adapter)
