I initially connected my Raspberry Pi 3 to the network using a cable. From my Windows PC, I am able to "Ping myhostname" and it works. I then used that to connect Visual Studio Code.
Later, I enabled WiFi on the Pi and removed the network cable. The problem is, the WiFi connection has a different IP address and doing a ping to the hostname still tries to find it via the IP address assigned when it had the network cable.
How can I fix (reset?) things so that doing a "Ping myhostname" finds the Pi via the WiFi IP address?
I have since turned both the Pi and my computer off but the problem still persists this morning.
