Sorry - an unfortunate update to this thread.
We used the fix and it's a big improvement but it's not a fix. Writing at continuously to the 2nd SD card (whilst using WiFi) still causes stability issues on the CM4. From our work, if we write at 10MBit/s to the SD card the CM4 becomes unstable after about an hour. At very low date rates, you might not see an issue for many hours.
So it anyone is reading this, you categorically cannot use the CM4 2nd SD interface with WiFi. It almost works, but don't let that fool you!
If you use the 2nd SD interface without WiFi, it works fine
On the CM5 you can use the 2nd SD interface and WiFi together, no issues.
