hi all,
Thanks for the reply. Indeed this is a new endeavour for me however i’m willing to learn and try new things. I have a background in lighting live events so not totally blind to the way electronics and leds and lcds work etc.
I have sourced this 8inch lcd with a customer cover lens/ touch panel. I need to get it working so willing to take some gentle pointers of where i need to go to learn next. It seems like i can connect to a cm4s disp1 connector. it has everything i need except for i2c 6 pins for the touch and the backlight power. i just need to get a breakout board and match up the connections on both sides.
for backlight power i was going to use this driver board that handles pwm and constant current for the backlight. it may be the wrong one in terms of output voltage but you get the idea, i need one that matches my spec
Again, a newbie but an ambitious one with plenty of patience and drive so please do help me if you are able![Smile :)]()
