The frame rate stated on Arducam product page refers to the frame rate of the camera output. However, the processing performance of the Raspberry Pi's ISP may not be able to reach this frame rate, resulting in a situation where the frame rate does not meet the advertised value. For instance, the Hawkeye has many issues that I was never able to overcome, the latency was high, the framerate came nowhere near what was advertised and even on a CM4 8GB, I wasn’t able to take full advantage of the 64MP resolution due to memory allocation errors and this was with the CMA set to 512M and running the lite/headless version of buster.
