Hi all. Newbie here. I'm working on a camera project, using a imx477 HQ camera, Pi 5, and a Waveshare 2 inch LCD display as a viewfinder and systems management display. Every guide/tutorial I've found about connecting the LCD screen to a Pi 5 is outdated, (including the instructions that came with the LCD screen, as the instructions are for a Pi4 and earlier models that just doesn't work for the Pi5. Hasn't anyone come up with updated instructions for connecting this LCD to a Pi5 yet?
I will add, many of the post I've read about setting up the LCD screen have failed, even many users with Pi4 and earlier models are having trouble getting this thing to work. Please, anyone with updated step by step instructions connecting their Pi5 to Waveshare 2 INCH LCD screen, THAT WORKS, would be greatly appreciated.
