Beginners • Re: Bookworm (X11 mode) - question about resolution and overscan?

I found out, that I can change the resolution of console, using something like:

Code:

video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080M@60
at the end of the string in /boot/firmware/cmdline.txt.
But that doesn't affect to the X.

I can use something like:

Code:

xrandr --size 1920x1080
command in terminal, to change resolution in X.

But all that leads to the situation, when monitor / TV changes resolution when you switch between X and console, and my TV resets aspect ratio to default. And I don't know how to change overscan settings (as far as I understand, it is impossible any more).

Is it possible to return to the old scheme (when you put resolution and overscan settings to the config.txt)? If not, then what is the last version of the OS where I can change resolution and overscan via config.txt?

By the way, how can I get list of suppurted monitor / TV modes in bookworm (tvservice doesn't work any more)?
