I intend to use one

But I have more than the Pi to supply power to

Fans, water pumps and stepper motors which is what I want the car battery for, it supplies my DC feed when powers is off to keep them working

I know the PI will power off in the time it takes the relay to switch from NO to NC so will use a PI UPS to keep that alive the other stuff losing power for 1/2 a second won't matter
