Hi again, just a couple of things. It's "picam2.close()", which should hopefully work! Also, it was Enter, not Space, to quit the recording program. But do ask again if you'd like more explanation - always happy to help when problems are specific and, ideally, come with code to test!sandyol It looks like the 4 channel format that I need for the image processing is messing with the recording. your code ran with no problems, except for the 'picam2(close)' which gave an error (NameError: name 'close' is not defined).
therealdavidp Loads of good points there. I may reconstruct my program, and investigate which alternatives you give work best. For some reason, with your program, I couldn't exit with space, had to close the window, then Ctl-C, which obviously messed up the recording.
