During an update, pi-apps only removes the waydroid package. The android image and other user data is only touched during an app uninstall. But What I did notice is that when your updater runs it for some reason uninstalls gapps version image and then installs the vinalla rather then prompting the user to not unintall it. Why does it uninstall it to begin with ?
Could you share the output of this command?
