Memory 'used' from command 'free' is give us process memory utilisation. Cache / Buffer are 2 others counters.
I keep online the RPI to see what it appends in the time with kernel 6.6.20.
OpenmediaVault use 2 main process :
php-fpm
nginx
It have this 3 services/process running :
nfsd
rrdcached
upsmon
All other process are the stock process of the Raspberry Pi OS (no gui).
I have another server (x86) on debian bookworm with the same config but in kernel 6.5.11 and the used memory stay stable to 750MB all the time, and this server have active nfs share on my proxmox cluster (IE: VM are running on this datastore)
At this time the RPI is 814MB used ... => 70MB more in 3.5 hours
