It's certainly true that sometimes programs will run quite fine when invoked from a command line and then fail when invoked at boot.....
However; it's a good start in my experience to see whether the programme works AT ALL...and how it behaves normally before examining the differences between that and how it responds if run at boot. That should make diagnosis easier.
Also....it's not 100% clear to me that the OP meant on boot...Though one might assume that from "that working in a RPi5 "
