I want put at home some Sensors in the House to measure different thinks and I believe in the Power of Ethernet.A Wire is a Wire.

Ok ok theoretically a Bus System could be a solution to but I have Ethernet in the hole House. That thinks need Power to so PoE would be a good option. What I really want is to bring some device and sensors into the network World. Theoretically sample: Have an thinly Device with an IR Blaster to controll all device in an Room remotely and maybe use an ordinary Remote to control thinks over the Network that way.![:lol:]( "Laughing")
Maybe just maybe the would have an USB Port to allow me to connect device over the network with an thin and small low power Device instead use an "fat" Pi.

A Wire is a Wire. 
Ethernet is fine, but you won't get a cheap PoE module, and it's hard to find a cheap micro with Ethernet. It's generally WiFi, or a Wiznet module stuck on.
